This is an extremely rare vintage Korean Champion-V (챔피온 V) combining robot toy produced by Alpha Science (알파과학) in South Korea.
The design is a Korean imitation inspired by the famous Japanese super robot anime Chōdenji Machine Voltes V. This is not an original Japanese Voltes V toy, but a distinctive Korean-market robot toy produced during the era when Japanese robot designs had a strong influence on the Korean toy industry.
The original packaging identifies the robot as “Champion-V Robot” and “Volteas-V (볼테스 V)” and advertises a 5-part combination and 3-stage transforming robot system.
This particular Champion-V is extremely difficult to find even within South Korea and is regarded as a rare and valuable vintage Korean robot collectible. Finding an example together with its original Korean box and original Styrofoam insert is especially uncommon.
