VINTAGE 1970s WALT DISNEY WORLD CINDERELLA CASTLE GLASS ASHTRAY / SOUVENIR DISH

Beautiful vintage Walt Disney World souvenir featuring an exceptionally detailed depiction of Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom.

This rectangular curved glass ashtray / souvenir dish features the classic Cinderella Castle rendered in white, blue and muted pink/mauve tones against a deep black background, surrounded by highly reflective metallic gold decoration. Gold accents appear throughout the trees, castle details, flags, border and original Walt Disney World lettering.

The bottom of the design features the early Walt Disney World Mickey globe-style logo along with the copyright marking:

The artwork is reverse decorated beneath / on the underside of the glass, allowing the detailed design to be viewed through the smooth clear glass surface. When viewed from the reverse, the castle and Walt Disney World lettering appear backward, consistent with this reverse-decorated construction.

The metallic gold decoration has a bright, reflective gold-luster appearance that changes noticeably with the angle and lighting. Gold content has not been tested, and no specific gold purity is represented.

CONDITION:

Exceptional vintage condition. This piece appears to have never been used and has been very well stored and preserved.

The Cinderella Castle graphics remain vivid and exceptionally crisp, with strong black background color and beautifully preserved metallic gold decoration. The glass remains clean and glossy.

There may be extremely minor age-appropriate surface or manufacturing characteristics visible under close inspection. Please review all photographs carefully, including close-up, angled and reverse views, as they are an important part of the condition description.
