This is a cast iron machining bench from a workshop in Shropshire that has been stripped down and repurposed.

The top is from riversmead school in cheshunt which was demolished in the late 70s and was part of the school labs.
Because this was used daily for many years it has character and a few burn marks from Bunsen burners and general use.
It features a wonderful grain pattern and sports a patina that only time can render.

The top has been polished to a smooth finish.
Wonderful industrial piece very solid a great talking point.
