A complete facsimile of Catalogue and Price List No. 5, issued by Frank Olzer of Gillette, Wyoming, and his Arizona Saddlery Co. of Prescott, Arizona, and printed by the Smith-Brooks Press of Denver. The catalog is undated; a testimonial letter inside is dated Prescott, April 6, 1918, placing it at about that year.

Olzer's preface declares him the only manufacturer in the line confining himself entirely to hand-made saddles and fancy cowboys' and stockmen's outfits — none but oak-tanned leather, none but first-class mechanics, with custom-made goods the specialty of the house. The testimonial comes from Dr. C. W. Pardee, Prescott veterinary surgeon and proprietor of Pardee's Horse Restaurant, who vouches that Olzer's orders for "the boys in the contests and show game" fitted him for any rider's wants — roping saddle, riding saddle, or combination, made as you direct, "even if you want the horn on the cantle." The ordering pages preserve the working terms of a 1918 mail-order saddlery: order by article number, 20 per cent deposit on C.O.D. orders from unknown parties, and postage enclosed for Parcel Post shipment.
