Pikachu 004/P – ANA “Pika Natsu Desu Yo” Campaign Promo – 2001
This is an authentic Japanese Pikachu 004/P promotional card from the early Pokémon Card e era, distributed in 2001 through ANA (All Nippon Airways).
The card was part of ANA’s “ANA’S Pika Natsu Desu Yo” summer campaign and was given to passengers flying on eligible domestic Pokémon Jet flights. Pikachu 004/P was originally distributed together with Larvitar 005/P on a special presentation sheet.
The artwork by Hironobu Yoshida depicts Pikachu hiding in the grass under a bright summer sky. A particularly charming detail is the small silhouette of Larvitar searching for Pikachu in the background, connecting the artwork to the companion Larvitar promo distributed alongside it.
