Morrisco Krunchy Krisps North Walsham – two unused 1950s Crisps Bags / Packets.
These are two wonderful unused and perfect 7 x 5 vintage Crisps Packets / Bags that date I think from around the early to mid 1950s or so. The brand is Morrisco Krunchy Krisps, that were manufactured by Morris & Co of Market Street, North Walsham in Norfolk. I am assuming that Krunchy Krisps would only have been available in the local North Walsham area.
The greaseproof paper bags are printed on one side and are blank on the other. They are printed in red and blue and are very attractive, with an image of the Market Cross in North Walsham, the address of Morris & Co, the price of 3d for the stated Net Weight of 14 dr. It also reads This packet contains specially selected potatoes cooked in high grade edible oils and salt Delicious with Chops, Steaks, Bacon, Poultry, Salads etc. Ideal for the Picnic Basket. To repeat, the Bags have not been used. They must have been stored somewhere dark, dry and flat as they are in such great condition. They will make great additions to various types of collection and are lovely display items.
