🚗 2017 FORD FOCUS 1.0 ECOBOOST TITANIUM

This 2017 Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost Titanium, being offered for sale as a spares or repairs vehicle following a bereavement.

The car has been in the same family since 2019 and has covered just 72,323 miles.

It has been serviced annually, with service history covering 2020 through to 2026.

The car has been sitting unused for approximately 7–8 weeks. Despite this, it started first time when recently started and runs and drives with no problems.

The clutch is very good and the gearbox operates as it should.

🔧 ENGINE / DIAGNOSTIC FAULT

The car currently has an engine management light illuminated.

A friend has carried out a diagnostic scan and the fault code returned is:

P0315 – Crankshaft Position System Variation Not Learned

Having researched the code, it appears that this can potentially relate to the crankshaft position system requiring a relearn/recalibration procedure, which may require suitable specialist diagnostic equipment.

I am not a mechanic and cannot confirm the cause of the fault or what will ultimately be required to rectify it.

The vehicle is therefore being sold strictly as spares or repairs.

📺 INFOTAINMENT / MEDIA SCREEN

The media/infotainment screen is not currently working, although there is sound/audio.
