Antique Glass Gas Lamp Shade Etched 3.5" Fitter H 14cm Frosted Ceiling Light

I believe this dates from the early 20th century and would have been for a gas light. Lovely etched design and shape.  

It is 14cm tall, 16.5cm external diameter at the bottom and 8.7cm external diameter at the top.  

It weighs 208g

Can also be used as a ceiling light shade, as you can see in the photos, by fitting a gallery, 3.5" or 3.75" will work. They are readily available on line for a few pounds. They come in numerous finished, brass, chrome, bronze etc so i will let you get your own depending on the finish you want.  

Would equally work on a table lamp where the shade is held in place by a 3 screws gallery

Good preloved condition with no chips or cracks, one very small mark next to the bottom

This is a vintage handmade glass light shade. Expect minor flaws from when it was made, tiny bubbles, gallery fitting fleabites and signs of use indicative of its age.
