Shipping costs for orders to the United States include customs duties and clearance fees.

This is a collection of vintage Japanese traditional woodworking tools, dating to the late Meiji or early Showa period. The set includes a highly decorative wooden ink pot (sumitsubo), two sumitsubo-related thread winders, five various small wooden hand planes (kanna), and a specialized woodworking knife.

The sumitsubo features elaborate, openwork carvings of arabesque and scroll motifs, indicating it may have been a prized possession of a master craftsman rather than a standard utility tool. The long knife has a forged iron blade with its handle carefully wrapped in rattan or bamboo skin. The collection of kanna planes varies in size and shape, suggesting different specialized uses.

The items are in vintage condition, showing signs of heavy use, aging, and historical wear. There are surface scratches, natural wood discoloration, rust on the iron blades, and remnants of old ink and cloth in the sumitsubo.
