Dutch Delft Musical Decanter Thorens Swiss Movement Moonlight Sonata Vintage

A charming vintage Dutch Delft style ceramic musical decanter, complete with its original cork stopper and a working Thorens Swiss music box movement.

Decorated in traditional blue and white with hand-painted windmill scenes, floral motifs, and a musical stave around the base. When wound up via the key beneath, the pressure-pin mechanism automatically plays Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata when the decanter is lifted, and pauses when set back down on the table.

• Base: Fitted with a genuine Thorens, Made in Switzerland movement.

• Body: Stamped Made in Holland.

Condition: Very good vintage condition overall with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Swiss Thorens music movement operates smoothly as intended. Light brown age spots inside the inner neck from storage (not visible on display).
