This heavy-duty wired pendant is engineered with specific safety and visibility features tailored for home care and clinical environments:

Button Layout & Functions: It features a 6-button layout arranged in three pairs. These buttons control the articulation of the head section (up/down) and the foot section (up/down). The remaining pair is typically utilized for simultaneous entry or specialized positioning, depending on the bed's motor controller.
Glow-in-the-Dark Interface: The button faces are coated with a specialized phosphorescent material that absorbs ambient light during the day. In pitch-black rooms, the buttons emit a soft glow so users can immediately locate the remote without turning on overhead lights.
Hardware Interface: The remote is physically defined by its heavy-duty coiled cable terminating in a 5-pin male connector plug.

Compatibility

Primary Compatibility: It is the exclusive factory replacement remote for the Drive Medical Delta Ultra-Light 1000 Semi-Electric Hospital Bed (Model 15030).
Cross-Model Matching: It is natively compatible with associated Drive semi-electric frames carrying numbers 15033 and 15235.

Critical Exclusion Notes

Not for Full-Electric Beds: This remote will not function on standard Drive Medical Full-Electric hospital beds. Full-electric beds automate the overall deck height adjustment (Hi/Lo frame movement). This extra function requires a completely different control module, which utilizes a 7-pin connector (such as part number 15033HC-G or 15030HC-G-LO).
Manual Height Constraint: On the semi-electric 15030 bed series, changing the actual height of the bed frame off the floor must be done manually using the physical hand crank located at the footboard; it cannot be triggered electronically by this remote.
