A rare original period 35mm colour negative featuring Emerson Fittipaldi at the 1972 Italian Grand Prix at Monza.

A superb close-up portrait of Fittipaldi during one of the most important weekends of his Formula One career.

Fittipaldi won the 1972 Italian Grand Prix for Team Lotus, driving the legendary Lotus 72D Ford, and the victory secured both the 1972 Formula One Drivers' World Championship for Fittipaldi and the Constructors' title for Lotus.

At just 25 years old, Fittipaldi became the first Brazilian Formula One World Champion and, at the time, the youngest driver ever to win the title.
