This piece is an original 50th-anniversary promotional smokey glass tray/ashtray commissioned by the United Twine & Paper Company of Lancaster, Pennsylvania to celebrate their golden jubilee from 1914 to 1964.

While it was distributed as a corporate gift by United Twine & Paper Company, the physical glass tray was manufactured and decorated by Houze Glass Corporation, a prolific American glass company famous for producing these distinctive metallic gold, white, and aqua blue screen-printed smoked glass souvenir trays during the mid-20th century.

No chips or cracks but some fading of gold in design and some scuff marks on back. See all photos!
