Stunning Vintage Murano Hand-Blown Art Glass Owl Figurine

Up for auction or buy-it-now is a beautiful mid-to-late 20th-century Italian art glass owl figurine, strongly attributed to the renowned Murano furnace Vetreria Artistica Oball (founded by Luigi Onesto). This piece features an exquisite silver aventurine (foil leaf) core that mimics fluffy, shimmering feathers suspended under a thick layer of clear sommerso glass. The stylized, oversized solid black glass eyes and ears give the owl a striking, whimsical Mid-Century Modern look.

Measurements: Stands approximately 3.5" tall. Weighs about 10 ounces.

Markings: Unmarked/unsigned, which is standard for mid-to-late century export runs from this studio after original foil stickers wear off over time. It features an authentic, cleanly ground pontil base.

Condition: The figurine is in good vintage condition overall, but please note it has some small chipping along outer edge of base (see last photo). It is not visible when piece is displayed. No other chips, cracks or scratches are present. Priced accordingly.
