Alperton is a Big Woolwich butty built by Harland and Wolff. Alperton was built for the Grand Union Canal Carrying Company. She is known by as a Town Class butty (Please note: current livery to match Star class Phobos). 

After Alperton was retired from carrying goods, she was used for several years as a camping boat. 

She has an extended steel back cabin with cassette toilet, sink, cupboards and stove (No running water or gas). 

All running gear complete; chains, cross planks, masts and top planks etc. including 2 x sets cloths. Full set of shuts in good condition.

She has been re footed twice, knee work completed as required with new rivets etc. 

Shot blasted on and below waterline, 2K blacking applied including underside of base plate. 10 mm steel base plate with steel keelson. 

Ready to work/trade from or as a blank canvas for spacious living accommodation!
