ITEM DESCRIPTION

Offered here is a lot of two vintage German tinplate workshop worker toys / mechanical steam engine accessories.

The lot includes:

• Workshop worker operating a vertical press-style machine
• Workshop worker operating a large grinding / sharpening wheel
• Lithographed and painted metal figures
• Metal workshop machinery and bases
• Belt/pulley driven mechanical construction
• One figure visibly marked “Made in Germany”

These classic workshop accessories were designed to recreate industrial working scenes alongside vintage toy steam-engine layouts.

The figures retain attractive original lithographed details, including work clothing, aprons, tools and machinery.

CONDITION

Vintage used condition with visible age-related wear.

There are scratches, paint loss, marks, patina and areas of oxidation. The grinding wheel in particular shows surface oxidation consistent with age.

The figures, bases and machinery are presented exactly as photographed.

The mechanical functions have not been tested with an external steam engine or belt drive, so the lot is sold as an untested vintage collectible.

Please inspect all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and show the exact items you will receive.

INCLUDED

2 vintage tinplate workshop toys only, exactly as shown in the photographs.
