RARE TOBY KAYE PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPH ARCHIVE
36 VINTAGE PHOTOGRAPHS
FROM THE PRIVATE COLLECTION OF LARRY FAZIO
An extraordinary surviving personal collection of 36 vintage photographs of actress, singer and character-comic Toby Kaye, preserved in a bound portfolio and coming directly from the private collection of her husband, professional stage manager and author Larry Fazio.
THIS IS NOT A GROUP OF RANDOMLY ASSEMBLED CELEBRITY PHOTOS.
These photographs belonged to Larry Fazio and were preserved together as part of his private collection.
Larry Fazio and Toby Kaye met through the Pasadena Playhouse and later married, giving this collection a wonderful direct personal connection to its subject.
THE COLLECTION
A total of 36 photographs are included.
The portfolio contains an impressive variety of vintage images of Toby Kaye, including:
• Professional headshots
• Large-format portraits
• Publicity-style photographs
• Character/comedic portraits
• Costume photographs
• Candid-style photographs
• Commercial/promotional imagery
• Multiple distinctly different poses and appearances
• Toby Kaye photographic collage
• Period advertising/promotional material

THE LARRY FAZIO CONNECTION
What makes this collection especially compelling is its provenance.
These photographs come from the PRIVATE COLLECTION OF LARRY FAZIO — Toby Kaye's husband and a longtime professional stage manager, theatrical professional and author.
Larry Fazio had an extensive career in professional theater and later authored the stage-management reference work "Stage Manager: The Professional Experience."
Larry and Toby met at the Pasadena Playhouse, an institution that remained an important part of their lives.
