VINTAGE ROYAL DAALDEROP HOLLAND - PURE SOLID BRASS STEPPED VASE

A stunning vintage piece from the Royal Dutch Factory Koninklijke Metaalwarenfabriek Daalderop (KMD) Tiel, Holland.

HISTORY - THE ROYAL FACTORY:
Founded in 1880 by Johannes Nicolaas Daalderop in Tiel, Netherlands. In 1915 the factory was granted the prestigious Royal Warrant by the Dutch Royal House and was allowed to call itself "Koninklijke" (Royal) with three crowns in its brand. In 1917 it became officially the Royal Metalware Factory - Koninklijke Metaalwaren Fabrieken J.N. Daalderop & Sons. By the late 1930s the factory had around 1000 employees and exported worldwide. This vase is from the golden Art Deco / Mid-Century period
