Large decorative Chinese porcelain bowl featuring a richly coloured millefleur “thousand flowers” design, with chrysanthemums and other blossoms covering the interior and exterior. Finished with a dark famille-noire-style ground, gilded details, scalloped rim and raised foot.
The underside carries an apocryphal Qianlong-style seal mark. This is a later twentieth-century revival piece rather than an eighteenth-century bowl.
