Original late-1960s Scalextric Grand Prix 50 model motor racing set with illustrated box, moulded insert, C5 Europa Vee and C6 Panther Grand Prix cars, two trigger controllers, track, lap counter and Shell trackside barriers. Contents are exactly as photographed; completeness has not been confirmed. Untested, so no guarantee of operation. Both cars show playwear, marked decals, tarnishing and wear to the pickups/braids. Track and accessories have age-related marks, while the cardboard barriers are creased and worn. The original box has staining, scuffs, softened edges, splits and general storage wear. A desirable vintage Tri-ang Scalextric collector’s set suitable for restoration, display or spares.
