ANTIQUE FRENCH MINIATURE HAND PAINTED GOUACHE PORTRAIT

Dear collectors, Noblesse-Collection is pleased to propose you this ornamental and fine antique
French portrait miniature dating from the first half of the 19th century, circa 1830-1840, depicting
François Caïmohusband of Thérèse de Niels (1801-1841).

The sitter is portrayed as an elegant young gentleman with finely modelled features, blue eyes,
carefully styled brown hair and pronounced sideburns. He wears a dark coat over a striped waistcoat
and a high white cravat, characteristic of fashionable male dress during the 1830s.

The portrait is particularly attractive for the delicacy of its execution and the youthful,
sensitive expression of François Crinno.

This miniature forms a companion portrait to that of his wife, Thérèse de Niels.

metal inner bezel.
