About this item
The Mamiya Sekor DS 105mm f/3.5 is a legendary, top-tier blue-dot lens designed for the Mamiya C-series TLR cameras (such as the C330 and C220). The "DS" variant is highly prized among medium format photographers for its unique aperture mechanism and sharp, classic rendering.
Cosmetic Condition: The lens barrel is in excellent cosmetic condition with minimal signs of use. Both the taking and viewing lens housings are remarkably clean with no major scratches, dents, or heavy paint wear. The markings remain bright and crisp, retaining a wonderful vintage look.
Optics Note: Inside the elements, there is a slight internal haze/cloudiness standard for a vintage lens of this era. However, it remains minor and will not affect normal shooting or image contrast under standard lighting conditions. There is no fungus, no scratches, and only a standard, small amount of internal dust particles.
Mechanically, all functions work properly with no issues. The built-in Seikosha shutter fires accurately at all speeds (including slow speeds), and the aperture blades are clean, snappy, and completely free of oil. It is fully functional and ready for practical use.
