I obtained a pair of these Antique Candleabra Menorah Bronze ?? (Magnet does not stick) Alabaster Accent and Geniune Amber Beads on chain (large, medium and small) from an Antique store. The owner said that they came from a woman who had them in the family for many years and that they are from Eastern Europe. Art Deco on design. Good condition. Maybe a little wax on them. The gold tone, metal chain is in a delicate condition but it is all there. A wee white thread was someone's repair to a probable break in the chain. In my view, the chain
needs to be reconfigured a bit into something more symmetrical and secured better. Personally, I would see a jeweller to do a proper job. A fairly minor issue. They have a 4.5" base. 12.75" tall and 15" wide. The design is simple and ornate at the same time. Brass is like a twisted, scrolled rope. No discoloration. The beads are valuable in and of themselves. Especially the Amber and brown tones. The Amber, Alabaster and brass look really lovely together. For seven candles. They weigh 760 grams each. A few tarnish spots. These are used and uncleaned, as is condition. Whether used as a centerpiece on a long table or mantle they are one of a kind.
