This is a Goebel Hummel "Wayside Harmony" figurine, (Model #111). It depicts a young Bavarian boy in traditional attire sitting on a rustic wooden fence while chatting with a small purple songbird.


It was originally sculpted by Reinhold Unger in 1938. In addition to the trademark V with Bee, there's an incised 111 and 1938 on the bottom side.


The figurine is crafted from porcelain and hand-painted, standing 5 inches tall.


In great condition. Some crazings on the bottom. Original box is not available.
