Decorative vintage brass fireside toasting fork featuring a traditional Scottish thistle finial.

A lovely old hearthside piece with a long twisted-effect brass stem, pierced three-prong fork and hanging loop above the thistle, allowing it to be displayed beside a fireplace when not in use.

The brass has developed an attractive warm aged patina, with areas of tarnish, oxidation and surface marking consistent with age and previous use. There is more pronounced aged tarnishing to the reverse of the thistle finial. Please study all photographs as these form an important part of the condition description.
