The wonderfully detailed scene shows the enormous glass and iron exhibition hall bustling with Victorian visitors, with fountains, sculpture, exotic plants and the famous mature elm trees incorporated into Joseph Paxton's Crystal Palace.

This example has attractive hand colouring and is professionally presented beneath glass with a wide neutral mount and substantial gilt and wood-effect frame.
