A lovely original Maple Quality bedside cabinet, attributed to the renowned British furniture makers and retailers Maple & Co.

Dating from approximately the late 1920s to early 1930s, the cabinet retains its original “MAPLE QUALITY” maker's badge to the rear.

A particularly useful design featuring a large open shelf above a separate cupboard, providing plenty of storage while remaining compact enough for use as a bedside table, lamp table or small occasional cabinet.

Details include a moulded rectangular top, rounded front edges, decorative drop handle with ornate backplate and shaped turned feet.

The warm timber and veneers have developed a very attractive aged colour and patina.

Approximate dimensions:

Height: 70cm
Width: 43cm
