Description

Early 20th century Royal Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase decorated in an Art Nouveau Arts and Crafts style.

The vase has a rich mottled green glaze with blue and ochre tones, applied stylised heart-shaped motifs and scroll detail around the body. A decorative and collectible example of Royal Doulton Lambeth pottery.

The base is impressed with the Royal Doulton mark, shape number 6082, and carries the incised MB monogram associated with Maud Bowden.
