This is the official bronze medallion issued by the Illinois Central Railroad to commemorate 100 years of service (1851–1951).
Details:- Measures approximately 3" in diameter
- Weighs approximately 7 oz
- Genuine bronze (edge marked “ROBBINS CO. ATTLEBORO GENUINE BRONZE”)
- Front reads “FOR 100 YEARS”, “ILLINOIS CENTRAL”, “MAIN LINE OF MID-AMERICA”, with dates 1851 and 1951
- Reverse features a detailed map of the Illinois Central system surrounded by a laurel wreath
- Designed by noted sculptor Julio Kilenyi
- No box or paperwork included — just the medallion
