A large french antique bacarat cut glass vase with ornate embellishments. It could be used as a centrepiece vase to exalt your ambience and decor. The vase looks much better in person and the camera has not been able to capture as good as an human eye can see. The vase could be savoured for a life time and rare to come by.

Excellent craftsmanship with an opulent quality. Adorned with elegant and ornate swags and motifs.

It is either silver/silver plated or an alloy of silver coloured metal. Since, i am not sure of it, i am going to say it is constucted of a silverish metal.

Definite age unknown - but it will fall under the antique timeline. For such a beautiful vase, it will remain timeless. Please note that the vase does not bear any marking in terms of the maker.

The theme seems to be of French Empire style. As is customary, the ornate metal parts are glued to the glass rather than nailed/screwed to avoid damage. Old glue residues are visible in places.

It might be possible to remove the lid or lift the top part. But, we have never tried just in case it damages the vase.

Please read the description and look closely at the pictures. No returns or cancellation please.

Would be a lovely addition to an antique interior decor in country/manor house, hotels and period properties.

Condition of the Vase - Very good condition for its age. There might be some imperfections due to the age such as small scratches or nips. There is a scratch that has been highlighted with a blue marking (see the last 2 pictures). Other than that there are no cracks on the glass body.

Measurement of the Vase -The vase weighs around 2.3 kg which is sign of quality and sturdiness. Measures 52 cm high to the top of the lid and 38 cm to the neck. The widest point of the vase is 15 cm.
