A beautiful antique brass mirrored fireplace screen dating from approximately the late Victorian to Edwardian period, c.1890–1910.
A particularly decorative example featuring a shaped brass carrying handle, elegant splayed feet and a large rectangular bevelled mirror set within a brass frame.
The centre of the mirror is decorated with a striking cut / etched starburst design which catches the light beautifully and gives the piece a wonderful period appearance.

The screen stands freely on its original shaped feet and retains its aged brass finish with an attractive natural patina.

Very good antique condition overall.
The mirror presents particularly well for its age with the expected minor marks and signs of age.
The brass frame and fittings show natural patination, tarnishing and surface wear consistent with a piece well over 100 years old.
The rear backing shows age-related creasing and wear, as clearly shown in the photographs.
