A wonderful original vintage Brexton four-person picnic set, Made in England and dating from approximately the 1950s to early 1960s.

Presented in its original fitted blue carrying case with green interior and retaining an attractive collection of floral-patterned china and period picnic accessories.

The set appears never to have been used and many of the contents remain extremely clean and well preserved.

Contents include:

- Four floral cups
- Four saucers
- Four plates
- Four spoons
- One original Brexton serrated knife
- One fork
- Two large insulated flasks
- Two rectangular food/storage containers
- Three smaller screw-top containers
- Original fitted carrying case

The single knife and fork are part of the original fitted configuration of this particular Brexton set. The case has dedicated fittings for these pieces alongside the four individual spoons.

CONDITION

The contents appear unused, although the set has naturally developed signs of age and long-term storage.

The two vintage flasks in particular show age-related discolouration, spotting and deterioration to their exterior finish.

There is also some age-related wear, oxidation and marking to the metal fittings and catches of the case, together with general storage wear to the case itself.

The floral china presents very well.

The plastic food containers also appear little if ever used, with some still retaining protective wrapping.

Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description and show the condition in detail.

The set is being sold as a decorative and collectable vintage picnic set. Due to its age, the flasks and food-storage components have not been tested for modern food-safe use.

A particularly attractive surviving example of a classic British Brexton picnic set, ideal for collectors, vintage displays, classic-car accessories or period props.
