Vintage Lurpak Douglas the Butterman Ceramic Toast Rack – Promotional Advertising Collectable c.2000
A wonderfully nostalgic original Lurpak promotional ceramic toast rack featuring Douglas the Butterman, the much-loved character from the classic Lurpak television adverts.
Cream glazed ceramic with four toast slots, Lurpak logo to the front and a moulded figure of Douglas leaning against the end of the rack.
The underside is embossed “Made exclusively for Lurpak” together with the food-safe glass-and-fork symbol.
These toast racks were produced as promotional merchandise for Lurpak around 2000 and make a lovely piece of British advertising and kitchen memorabilia.
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with general age/use-related marks, surface dirt/discolouration and wear as shown in the photographs. Please study all photographs carefully as these form part of the description.
