Vintage Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad (L.A. & S.L.R.R.) Safety First pin.
This is an official railroad safety award / lapel pin featuring the Union Pacific System shield and “The Overland Route” logo.
Details:- Blue enamel outer ring with gold lettering: “L.A. & S.L.R.R.” and “SAFETY FIRST”
- Center shield reads “UNION PACIFIC SYSTEM” and “THE OVERLAND ROUTE”
- Screw-back style with original screw-back nut included
- Comes in the original small red/clear plastic case with foam insert
- Quarter is shown in the photos for size comparison
Condition:
Pin is in good condition for its age. It shows normal wear from age and use including light marks, scratches, and some green oxidation (verdigris) on the back. Original screw-back nut is present. The plastic case is in excellent condition and opens/closes perfectly.
