**Vintage 1980 Carole Bourdo Native American Framed Art Print**
**Signed & Dated "Bourdo — 80" in Plate | Professionally Framed & Double-Matted**
Up for sale is a beautiful, evocative fine-line narrative illustration by the recognized American artist Carole Bourdo (b. 1938). Bourdo is celebrated for her deeply spiritual depictions of Native American culture, heritage, and wildlife.
This moving piece features a split-plane narrative, rendering a detailed elder couple in deep cross-hatched lines in the foreground, contrasted against an ethereal, lighter depiction of a young couple holding hands in the background.
**ITEM SPECIFICS & DIMENSIONS:**
* **Artist:** Carole Bourdo
* **Year of Release:** 1980
* **Framed Size:** 17" inches wide x 20" inches tall
* **Framing:** Solid wood frame with a deep chocolate brown finish, protected behind glass.
* **Matting:** High-quality professional double matting.
**CONDITION REPORT:**
* **Artwork:** The black ink lines remain incredibly sharp, crisp, and high-contrast with no signs of UV bleaching or fading. The paper exhibits a very clean, uniform, warm vintage tan patina (toning) that is typical for prints of this era, giving it a beautiful historic character. There are no water stains, ripples, or tears.
* **Frame:** The solid wood frame is structurally sound, tight at the corners, and the glass is completely intact. There is a cosmetic chip/scuff on the right outer edge of the wood finish that exposes the lighter wood underneath (clearly highlighted in the final photo). This can easily be touched up with a brown furniture marker or stain if desired, but does not affect the structural integrity. The back retains its original wire and is fully ready to hang.
