A large and wonderfully varied collection of craft stamps, neatly organised within a substantial Tim Holtz Idea-ology zipped storage binder.
The brown Tim Holtz binder measures approximately 26 cm × 25 cm × 8 cm and has an attractive embossed floral and scroll design, full zip-around closure and its original Tim Holtz Idea-ology branded tag.
Inside is a ring-binder storage system containing 18 translucent folders, with the folders holding varying selections of rubber and clear stamps.
This is not simply an empty storage binder – it comes filled with a substantial assortment of stamps and stamp sets, collected over time and covering a wide variety of styles and subjects.
Designs visible throughout the collection include vintage advertising and ephemera, Victorian and period imagery, ladies and fashion, floral designs, decorative flourishes and corners, borders, frames, sentiments, architectural subjects and numerous smaller decorative motifs.
There are stamps from various manufacturers within the collection. Among the identifiable contents is a Sheena Douglass Paint Fusion Poppies set with its accompanying guide, together with other clear and rubber stamp sets. Some stamps and backing sheets are marked as made in England.
The collection is used and has been stored for a number of years. The binder shows normal signs of previous use and storage, including some surface wear and marks, while the stamps themselves vary in condition and previously used examples may naturally show ink staining or other evidence of use.
The binder remains a very attractive and practical way of storing the collection.
I have not individually identified, counted or tested every stamp contained within the 18 folders. With the quantity and variety involved, they are being offered together as the complete collection shown rather than as individually catalogued stamp sets.
This would make an excellent collection for card making, scrapbooking, journaling, mixed media, altered art and other paper crafting, with the Tim Holtz binder providing a convenient organised storage system from the outset.
