Description - Vintage solid silver hip flask of curved form with a twist action bayonet cap which houses a cork stopper

the front has an engraved presentation inscription relating to the Nottinghamshire Special Constabulary, and dated 1943.

Fully hallmarked with the crown for Sheffield assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, cup letter "z" for the years 1942 and the maker's "J.D & S" which is James Dixon & Sons Ltd.

Condition - In very good condition, for accuracy there is just a small dint to the front edge which is barely visible

no dents, dinks, dings, splits, holes, repairs, nasty scratches

bayonet cap in perfect working order and no leaking.
