in full working condition except it wont power off via the front mounted rocker switch. Therefor selling as spares or repair
It functions as a preamp and an input selector both via the analogue phono socket inputs on the back as well as bluetooth connectivity
It was purchased just over a year ago to act as an input selector to our audio amplifier in our village hall. Together with a connection panel hirers could select the appropriate connection cable for their phone or tablet to play back music e.g. Apple lightning, USB-c, 3.5mm jack etc.
It has been working perfectly since installation but one day would not turn off with the rocker switch so hirers left it on all the time. As it was just out of the 12month warranty the UK importers would not honour a replacement but did arrange for a new rocker switch to be sent to us from Holland. I installed this thinking the existing rocker switch was faulty, however it's made no difference, the new switch does not turn off the unit.(I've included an image that shows amp in situ with rocker switch off and power led and display still illuminated)
The preamplifier still works as designed in every respect, indeed has been used for several months with the above fault, but we needed to replace it so hirers turned everything off after their hire. We are therefore selling cheaply and would make an excellent purchase for someone who is not worried about the device being always on or who has an electronics background and can figure out what the fault is.
