Sony DCR-TRV16E Digital Handycam MiniDV camcorder, owned by us from many years ago and now ready for a new home.

Classic early-2000s Sony MiniDV camcorder with Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar lens, 10x optical zoom, flip-out LCD screen, NightShot and DV/i.LINK connectivity.

The camcorder has been stored for many years and naturally shows some cosmetic signs of age and use, but is in good overall condition for a camera of this age. Please see the photographs for the exact condition.

Fully tested using MiniDV tape – recording, tape playback, LCD/viewfinder, zoom and audio all working correctly.

The original rechargeable battery is included, although due to its age I cannot guarantee its present capacity. The camcorder can be operated from the included mains adaptor.

This model is particularly useful for anyone wanting to play back or digitise old MiniDV recordings, as it has a DV/i.LINK (FireWire) digital output.

The two Sony Premium MiniDV tapes are still factory sealed.
