Our grading system is based on our original standard.
Minor noise may occur even in good condition items.

Mint		 Record: Perfect and unplayed. Sealed copies are graded M and marked "Sealed" in the condition notes.
Jacket: Perfect, no wear.
OBI: Perfect, no wear.
NM
Near Mint (NM or M-)		 Record: Nearly perfect. At most very faint marks visible only under strong light; plays perfectly.
Jacket: Near perfect, minimal handling wear.
OBI: Near perfect, minimal handling wear.
EX
Excellent		 Record: Light signs of handling; minor scuffs or very light scratches. Little or no surface noise.
Jacket: Light shelf wear, small creases or minor scuffs.
OBI: Light wear or small creases.
VG+
Very Good Plus		 Record: Visible scuffs or light scratches; light surface noise in quiet passages. No skips.
Jacket: Visible wear, light creases, light ringwear or small stains.
OBI: Visible wear, creases or light stains.
VG
Very Good		 Record: Noticeable groove wear and scratches; surface noise throughout, but plays through without skipping.
Jacket: Ringwear, seam wear, writing, stains or traces of mold.

Good Plus		 Record: Heavy wear and surface noise; plays through without skipping.
Jacket: Heavy wear, seam splits or heavy stains.
