What is Inside / Purpose:
This set compiles the complete, historic four-part crossover storyline "The Joker is Wild" written by Chuck Dixon. To celebrate the event, DC published multiple variant versions with specialized covers across the newsstand and hobby markets. This complete deluxe set brings all of those rare pieces together into a single master archive collection.

All Fourteen (14) Comics: Includes all 5 variant versions of issue #1, all 4 variants of issue #2, all 3 variants of issue #3, and both variants of issue #4 (All four Newsstand Editions plus all ten rare Hologram Issues). All 14 comics are unread and in flawless mint condition.
All Four (4) Hologram Trading Cards: Featuring #1 Robin, #2 Batman, #3 The Joker, and #4 the Bat Signal. Kept safely inside protective sleeves. Two Custom Acid-Free Backer Boards: The first features a striking black-and-white line drawing of the Joker from the newsstand #1 cover. The second features the distinctive Robin II logo above the full master contents checklist, stamped with its unique individual production serial number: No. 15098 of 25,000.

Condition

Overall Status: Flawless, Mint collector condition. While the original outer factory wrap was opened, every single internal element remains completely pristine and untouched.
Slipcase Box: The glossy black cardboard slipcase has been housed inside a protective plastic sleeve for over 30 years and features crisp edges and zero structural crushing.
Trading Cards: The four hologram cards were immediately transferred into stiff plastic sleeves over 30 years ago. The plastic holders have developed a slight vintage yellowing, and the numbered white reverse sides of the cards show a very faint, uniform hint of natural vintage paper aging, but they remain visually spectacular.
The #2 Batman Card has 50/50 centering (4mm from each edge) and could grade high.
Comics & Backers: All 14 individual comics and the thin stamped backing boards remain unbent and sharp.
