Vintage 3M Sasheen Brand Reversible Soft'n Satiny ribbon in 3/4 inch (19mm) width, made in the USA. This spool came from a family estate and is labeled "12 Burgundy" on the center, though in person the ribbon reads more like a warm copper, rust, or burnt orange, so please go by the photos for true color. The spool was originally packaged with 250 yards (228.6 meters), but it is a partial spool and I cannot say how much has been used. The whole spool, ribbon included, weighs 11.30 ounces, and the first and last photos show the amount remaining on the roll.
The satin has a soft, lustrous sheen and shows no obvious flaws in the photos, though it is vintage and unrolled in places, so light creasing or shade variation is possible. The cardboard spool shows age, including some edge wear, light spotting, and small stains on the face, consistent with decades of storage. Wonderful for gift wrapping, bows, sewing and craft projects, floral work, doll clothing, scrapbooking, and vintage packaging collectors.
