Offered here is a lovely vintage covered butter dish in Franciscan's beloved Desert Rose pattern. The creamy earthenware is decorated with the pattern's signature pink wild-rose blossoms and green leaves, and the lid is topped with a charming rosebud finial.

This is USA-made earthenware, carrying the classic oval "Franciscan Earthenware" backstamp on the bottom (see photo). The dish has a glossy, hand-painted look that collectors love, and it presents beautifully on the table or in a display.

Condition: Pre-owned vintage. From the photos, the dish looks clean and glossy with no visible chips or cracks. Please review all photos carefully, as they form part of the description.

A wonderful addition to your Desert Rose collection or a thoughtful gift for a Franciscan collector.
