* National Defense Service Medal (NDSM): Established in 1953, awarded to anyone who served on active duty during designated periods of national emergency or armed conflict (such as Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, or the Post-9/11 era).
* Global War on Terrorism Service Medal (GWOT-SM): Established in 2003, awarded to military personnel who supported active counter-terrorism operations following the September 11 attacks.
* Korea Defense Service Medal (KDSM): Established in 2002, awarded to U.S. service members who performed qualifying duty (at least 30 consecutive days or 60 non-consecutive days) in the Republic of Korea / Korean theater on or after July 28, 1954
* Defense Meritorious Service Medal (DMSM) (Far Left): Awarded by the Secretary of Defense to members of the U.S. Armed Forces for non-combat meritorious achievement or service while assigned to a joint (multi-service) activity. The ribbon has a white center flanked by red, white, and blue stripes.
* Joint Service Commendation Medal (JSCM) (Second from Left): Awarded for sustained meritorious service or acts of heroism while serving in a joint military command. The ribbon features a green center with white and green edge stripes.
* Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal (miniature/small-size version) with its characteristic ribbon of blue, red, gold, and blue stripes and a bronze medallion featuring an American bald eagle over a shield.
