About these plugs
Champion Copper Plus is Champion's everyday copper-core spark plug line, used in cars, trucks, small engines, motorcycles and marine engines that were designed to run on a copper plug.
- Copper core: carries heat away from the firing tip, which helps the plug resist fouling and pre-ignition.
- Nickel-alloy electrodes: a proven design that gives a consistent spark in engines built for copper plugs.
- New Champion plugs: shipped in Champion packaging, not used or rebuilt.
Use these where your engine calls for a standard copper plug. If your engine came with platinum or iridium plugs, stay with that type.
Before installing, check the gap your engine calls for and set it if needed. Install on a cool engine, thread each plug in by hand first, and tighten to the torque in your vehicle's or equipment's service manual. Follow the OEM service manual for removal and installation.
