| The 1978 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Ref. 6917 represents a refined example of the manufacture's vintage ladies' collection, combining traditional Oyster construction with the elegant two-tone styling of the 1970s. This particular watch stands out for its distinctive white dial, featuring black Roman numerals alongside applied yellow-gold baton hour markers, an unusual combination that adds considerable depth and character to the design. Its fluted yellow-gold bezel and matching crown contrast beautifully with the stainless-steel Oyster case, while the two-tone Oyster bracelet reinforces its classic period appearance.
