Golf  A Royal & Ancient Game  edited by Robert Clark

A superb copy of this cornerstone golf book

The first edition was in 1875

The smaller second edition was in 1893

This cheap (!) reissue was in 1899

This copy has been rebound in quarter leather with marbles boards and plain black endpapers. A classy job

Top edge gilt

A magnificent and important book bringing together the early golfing writings of the nineteenth century
