Vintage 1968 Chrome INGERSOLL Pocket Watch, 2 Tone Face Totally Original VGC GWO Bench tests have been good with it losing 4-6 minutes over a 12 hour period. Face and hands are clean and straight, with the original 'luminous compound' in place but not active anymore. The movement is clean and I have given it a clean and lubricated it lightly with a good watchmakers oil. Stamped '68' to denote year of manufacture. The case is very good with no dings or dents and polishes up well. Overall, a good clean original watch that can be used daily as it is accurate and reliable in tests. A very pretty example of these popular watches.

In regards to manual, hand wind, pocket watches, wrist watches and pendant watches I check them out over a period of 2 days and if they are within 3 - 5 minute over 12 hours I will list them. Some of them are between 40 and 80 years old and are subject to wear and tear cosmetically and mechanical wear to the movement. I give a description of my assessment of the timepiece and sell at a fair price. I cannot guarantee them once posted. My postal charges equate to the online Royal Mail charge plus 50p - 60p for packaging. This is a little more expensive but a much better service to you the buyer & me the seller.

Items with simple postage have my packaging charge added to the item price as ebay does not take this into account and sellers lose out on this cost if not added.
