Condition: Used – Very Good
📶 Upgrade your home network to Wi-Fi 7! For sale is a TP-Link Deco BE25 BE3600 Whole-Home Mesh Wi-Fi System, featuring three mesh units, all three power adapters, an RJ45 Ethernet cable, and additional wall mounts with screws.
Used for approximately one year and in great condition overall, this is a brilliant upgrade for anyone looking for fast, reliable Wi-Fi throughout their home, with modern multi-gigabit connectivity and the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology.
Whether you're working from home, gaming online, streaming films in 4K or 8K, making video calls, or connecting smart-home devices, this three-unit system is designed to provide seamless Wi-Fi coverage across your property.
✅ 3 × TP-Link Deco BE25 Wi-Fi 7 mesh units
✅ 3 × power adapters (one has the fault described below)
✅ 1 × RJ45 Ethernet cable
✅ Additional wall mounts and screws, purchased separately
✅ Everything listed above is included in the sale. Please refer to the photographs for the actual items you will receive.
The Deco BE25 uses Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), offering a combined theoretical wireless speed of up to 3,600 Mbps (3.6 Gbps) across its two frequency bands.
🚀 5 GHz: Up to 2,882 Mbps
📶 2.4 GHz: Up to 688 Mbps
🔗 Multi-Link Operation (MLO): Compatible devices can use multiple links to improve throughput, reduce latency and increase connection reliability.
📺 Ideal for streaming, online gaming, video conferencing, large downloads and busy connected households.
🔄 Backwards compatible with older Wi-Fi generations, so you can continue using existing phones, laptops, tablets, smart TVs and other wireless devices.
Please note that these figures are theoretical maximum wireless link speeds, not guaranteed internet download speeds. Actual performance depends on your internet connection, client devices, configuration and surroundings.
Why settle for a single router when you can distribute three mesh units around your home?
The Deco system works together to create one unified Wi-Fi network, helping devices stay connected as you move between rooms instead of requiring you to switch manually between separate network names.
🏡 Potential uses include:
Living rooms, bedrooms and home offices.
Upstairs and downstairs coverage.
Smart TVs, streaming boxes and games consoles.
Smart-home equipment, cameras and other connected devices.
Larger or multi-storey properties where a single router struggles to reach every room.
Actual coverage will depend on your property's size, layout, construction materials and unit placement.
Each Deco BE25 features 2 × 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN Ethernet ports, giving you flexible wired connectivity well beyond traditional gigabit Ethernet.
You can connect compatible equipment such as:
💻 Desktop PCs and laptops with multi-gigabit networking.
🖥️ Network switches and wired home-network equipment.
🎮 Games consoles and other wired devices.
🌐 A compatible modem or internet gateway.
The ports automatically function as WAN or LAN connections, depending on your configuration. A compatible internet service, network adapter and cabling are required to take advantage of multi-gigabit speeds.
The Deco BE25 supports both wireless and wired backhaul between mesh units.
Wireless backhaul: Position the units around your home without running Ethernet cables between them.
Ethernet backhaul: Connect the units using Ethernet for a wired link, which can improve stability and free up wireless capacity for client devices.
The system can combine wired and wireless backhaul technology to improve overall network performance where supported by the configuration.
TP-Link's AI-driven mesh technology helps coordinate your network, allowing compatible devices to roam between Deco units as you move around your home.
Additional features include:
Intelligent connection and path selection.
OFDMA for efficient communication with multiple compatible devices.
160 MHz channel support.
4K-QAM for improved data efficiency with compatible clients.
Support for a large number of connected devices.
The system is designed for modern households with phones, tablets, computers, televisions, consoles and smart-home equipment all sharing the same network.
The Deco BE25 includes TP-Link HomeShield security features, with availability depending on the feature and subscription tier.
Features include supported network security tools, device access controls, parental controls and network protection options.
🔒 Supported wireless security includes WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 Personal.
Some advanced HomeShield features require a paid subscription; no subscription is included with this sale.
The Deco BE25 can operate in either:
Router mode: The Deco manages the home network when connected to a compatible modem or internet gateway.
Access Point mode: The Deco extends an existing router's network.
This makes it suitable for a variety of home-network arrangements. Setup and management are performed through the TP-Link Deco app.
The system is designed to work with different internet service providers, although a separate modem or gateway may be required depending on your connection type.
The three Deco units have been used for approximately one year and remain in very good overall condition. They are being sold together as a complete three-unit mesh system, with the accessories listed above.
Please read the following power adapter disclosure before purchasing:
⚠️ One of the included power adapters has a loose/removable plastic top pin, as shown in the photographs. This is the non-electrical pin used to operate the safety shutters in a UK socket; the adapter's electrical power contacts are separate.
The issue is with the plug's physical pin rather than the Deco unit itself. However, because the pin is loose, this must be considered when purchasing. I was able to use it for a year with no issues by simply using blue tack to hold the pin in place so the shutters on the socket would open. The adaptor is double earthed so the actual pin has no electrical use, it is just there to open the shutters.
Please examine the photographs and this description carefully so that you know exactly what is included and are happy with the disclosed condition before buying.
