Offered here is an outstanding collection of two original Sacramento Kings playoff tickets and two official game programs from April 19, 2003, when the Kings hosted the Utah Jazz in Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference First Round at ARCO Arena.
The early-2000s Sacramento Kings were among the NBA's most exciting teams, featuring Chris Webber, Peja Stojakovic, Mike Bibby, Vlade Divac, and Bobby Jackson. Under head coach Rick Adelman, Sacramento entered the 2003 playoffs following a remarkable 59–23 regular season, finishing with the second-best record in the Western Conference.
The opening-round matchup against Utah featured a fascinating contrast between Sacramento's high-powered offense and the veteran Jazz team led by future Hall of Famers Karl Malone and John Stockton. The Kings won the series in five games, advancing to the Western Conference Semifinals. This series also marked the final postseason appearance of Stockton's legendary NBA career.
